Our retail client is seeking an Art Director! This role is a maternity leave coverage from April - October 2025. This role is hybrid. You will be expected to be onsite in Downtown Los Angeles about 8 times per month for meetings and shoots.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- You will report to the Creative Brand Director to assist on all consumer channels
- You will develop visual assets and digital experiences
- You will also assist in directing ecommerce shoots and marketing stories
- You can tell a story and stay within brand guidelines
- You will be hands-on working on various design and branding projects and campaigns
- You will be onsite for shoots, help with art directing the photography, and approving final images for retouching
- Work cross functionally with ecommerce, marketing, PR, and other teams
- Oversee the graphic designers and photographers / videographers to develop cohesive ecommerce content
- Support the Brand Director in concepting photoshoot art
- Establish and maintain production schedule, manage working with models and negotiating for ecommerce shoots
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 4+ years' of experience with Art Direction, specifically on shoots
- Experience with staying within brand guidelines and creating new content ideas
- Strong eye for graphic design and typography
- Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite. Figma is a plus!
