Summary
The Associate Application Support Developer is responsible for assisting in the support of proprietary applications developed in cutting edge Cloud Computing technologies using C# on .Net framework, WCF, SOAP, JSON, REST, JavaScript, XML Workday, Salesforce Force.com, APEX, Visual Force and Object Oriented Design. The ideal candidate will need to be a fast learner with the ability to quickly grasp and understand technology. Candidates must be able to demonstrate an aptitude of putting themselves in challenging situations and excelling. This position falls under the Research and Development team which is responsible for building and maintaining some of mission critical applications that help differentiate our business.
Responsibilities
- Provides support for OSV's applications, proving timely response to technical questions and problems.
- Following documented steps, take corrective action or escalates the issues to the appropriate resource as necessary.
- Communicates proactively and effectively with Business Users, R&D Team Members and Management.
- Monitors logs and tracks basic problems/work tickets with external product vendors or support organizations.
- Utilize technical compentencies to identify rootcause of systems issues, collaborating with T2 and Development teams for resolution.
- Participates in the documentation of new or existing applications, resolution of issues, troubleshooting steps, next steps, and defect fixes to clearly communicate to appropriate audience.
- Communicate complex concepts regarding solution scope and deliverables

Qualifications
Education/Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer Science or related business area is required
- Excellent GPA
- Proven track record of excellence
- Passionate about technology and learning new technologies
- Firm understanding of object-oriented programming
- Experience with Web Services
Preferred
- Knowledge of SalesForce.com a plus
- 1-2 years of experience in cloud application techincal support, reporting, and software development preferred
