Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Adobe Target Testing & Experimentation Strategist to join our client's enterprise website team. This role is focused exclusively on agile experimentation and A/B testing, not personalization. While we have a centralized personalization team, this position is designed to fill a critical gap by enabling rapid, iterative testing to optimize user experience and drive business outcomes.
This is a contract role funded through the end of 2025, estimated 20-40 hours per week, with the potential for extension based on performance and business impact. We are open to remote candidates but have a strong preference for individuals based in or near Indianapolis, IN. A laptop will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests using Adobe Target
- Collaborate with product owners, content teams, and experimentation leads to identify high-impact testing opportunities
- Develop test plans and hypotheses for a wide range of UI and content experiments
- Set up and manage tests in Adobe Target, such as:
- CTA button color tests
- Hero image variants
- Headline optimization
- Form field reduction
- Navigation layout experiments
- Mobile vs. desktop UX optimization
- Exit intent pop-up testing
- Campaign landing page variants
- Sequential experience testing
- Multi-armed bandit and auto-allocate testing
- Analyze test results and make clear, data-driven recommendations
- Present findings in a professional, camera-ready format to stakeholders
- Partner with internal measurement leads to align test results with broader performance metrics
- Maintain a strategic lens on experimentation, proactively suggesting new ideas and areas to test
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Adobe Target, especially in testing and experimentation (not personalization)
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and web design best practices
- Experience designing and executing agile, iterative tests
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Comfortable presenting findings to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Based in Central or Eastern Time Zone
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tests simultaneously
Nice to Haves
- Local to Indianapolis, IN or willing to travel onsite occasionally
- Background in UI research or user behavior analysis
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations (training provided)
- Experience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance)
