The Truist Internship provides college students with an 8-12 week working and immersion experience to sharpen their skills. During this internship, time is focused on summer long projects with other students and full-time, experienced teammates. Interns have the opportunity to network with other interns, teammates, and senior leaders. Summer Analyst Program Overview:

The Truist Securities CIB Summer Analyst Program will run for approximately 10 weeks in the summer months. The Summer Analyst Program will consist of:

Activities: Networking socials, case studies and presentations, team-building projects
Executive Speaker Series: CEO, Truist Securities Senior Leaders, among others

Competitive Summer Analysts will be eligible to receive an offer to return in full time positions as part of our Analyst program upon graduation.

Job Description:

The Credit Delivery Summer Analyst program provides the opportunity to gain exposure to a number of disciplines within investment banking and capital markets. Interns will sharpen financial analysis skills, develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients, and gain experience in corporate finance and with investment banking products through on-the-job training. Within each group, Summer Analysts play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients.

This position is specifically for our Credit Delivery (CIB Industry) Asset Securitization Group (ASG) with the opportunity to interact with other groups and disciplines throughout the investment bank.

Asset Securitization Group:

The CIB Credit Delivery Asset Securitization Group underwrites and manages the debt capital Truist commits to its corporate client base. Credit Delivery teammates work together with Corporate and Investment Bankers, Product Specialists, and Risk Managers to deliver capital and strategic ideas to the Truist client base. Post close of a debt funded transaction, Credit Delivery teammates lead the credit relationship with their clients and actively manage and monitor the credit profile and exposure levels across their portfolios.

The summer program will introduce Credit Delivery Summer Analysts to Truist, corporate finance and specifically, debt analysis. Summer Analysts in this Credit Delivery program will work with the Asset Securitization Group (ASG) team, where they will get the opportunity to focus on the debt profiles of Truist Securities’ clients and support Corporate and Investment Bankers, Product Specialists and Risk Managers to deliver strategic solutions to Truist’s clients. The ASG team analyzes companies’ financial operating performance, evaluates industry trends and identifies key risks and mitigants of a client’s credit profile against our lending parameters. ASG Summer Analysts will work on cash flow analyses and underwriting credits to sharpen financial analysis skills.

Minimum Requirements:

Scheduled graduation of final degree by December 2026 or May/June 2027
Overall GPA of 3.0
Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
Superior written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Requirements:

Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or STEM major
Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework
High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program.
