Truist Bank's Equipment Finance Analyst Program will participate in Securities Analyst program training for up to seven weeks of classroom instruction that consists of an introduction to capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems, and financial modeling training designed to give Analysts the tools they will need to be successful. After the classroom training, Analysts on this team will be placed within one of our three Structured Credit Products groups (Asset Based Lending, Equipment Finance, and Working Capital Solutions) and play a meaningful role in supporting senior investment banking professionals.
Our Structured Credit Organization (SCO) delivers a wide range of financing solutions. We combine market-leading structuring expertise with detailed industry insights and broad distribution capabilities to design a customized strategy that best meets our client’s needs. Analysts will work closely with senior Structured Credit professionals to help drive the growth of the business.
Assignment will be within the Equipment Finance Group (EFG) with the opportunity to interact with other groups and disciplines throughout the investment bank.
Equipment Finance Group:
The Equipment Finance Group is a product group within Truist Bank’s Wholesale Group. Equipment Finance Analysts work with senior bankers to offer a variety of debt and leasing structures to bank and non-bank qualified issuers with a focus on essential use equipment.
An EFG Analyst will:
- Assist with origination, structuring, underwriting and distribution of Equipment Finance lease and loan transactions working effectively with EF Originations, Structuring and Capital Markets teams.
- Work with Functional/Matrix partners in Credit Risk, Asset Management and Operations to process transactions and manage the client experience.
- Work with Origination, Structuring, CM teams on new business development, market analysis, due diligence, structuring, and execution.
- Complete client pitch materials, proposals, terms sheets, transaction screens/LTR's, and CM CIM's.
- Complete pricing runs, modeling, return analysis, comparable transaction/relative value analysis

Minimum Requirements:
- Completed BA/BS degree with a scheduled graduation of December 2024 or May 2025
- Overall GPA of 3.0
- Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
- Superior written and oral communication skills with strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Possess a strong willingness to learn
Preferred Requirements:
- Business or STEM major
- Strong interest in finance and investment banking
- Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework
- High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
- Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program
