Maricopa Campus:
- Central Help Desk (one position) Provide front line assistance, triage people entering CAC and educate students about CAC resources. Help conduct campus tours, production of photo ID’s (student, community, staff, faculty), answer basic email inquiries, assist with special events, provide general help to registration, admissions, marketing, outreach, advising, financial aid, and student accounts departments. Be first level support for inbound callers to Central Helpdesk line.
Signal Peak Campus:
- Nursing: (two positions) Student would assist the Program Assistant and the Director of Nursing with clerical work, making labels for simulated medications and organizing the laboratory and simulation spaces inside the W and T Buildings.
- Early Childhood Learning Centers:(one position) Student Office Assistant, must be at least 18 years of age. Must pass a Criminal History Background Check and obtain and maintain a level one clearance card prior to beginning employment. Must obtain a physical exam and have a TB skin test prior to beginning employment.
- Student Engagement Assistant:
- Assist with tabling at specific campus (SPC) to promote different campus resources related to wellness & safety
- Assist with setup/cleanup and promoting a variety of student activities and events at specific campus
- Develop brochures, posters, social media posts, digital monitor posts, trifold educational displays, and flyers in Canva for our Basic Needs, Title IX, & Student Engagement services & activities
- Manage storage inventory and postings around campus
- Provide customer service at Student Engagement front desk area as needed
- Pence Center:(three positions) Assists in the safe operation and maintenance of theatre sound, lighting, rigging and related equipment and systems used in support of stage productions and related events; assists with a variety of clerical office duties, including data entry and ticket sales; performs related duties as required. Must be able to lift 50lbs and go up and down ladders. Must not be afraid of heights.
- Pence Center Box Office:(one position) Assists in day-to-day operation of the Pence Center Box Office; assists with a variety of clerical office duties, including data entry and ticket sales; money handling, taking checks and cash and giving correct change; customer service; answering phones and calling customers as needed; printing and distributing flyers and signs around campus; performs related duties as required. Must be available to work mornings, Mon-Thurs from 9am-12pm.
Mac Lab Student Aide: (one position)
Qualifications: Digital Media Arts students preferred with strong skills in all Adobe Creative Suite Programs, including but not limited to: Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, InDesign
Hours. Monday 9 am – 1pm, Tuesday 2pm – 6pm, Wednesday 9am – 1 pm.
IT Helpdesk
Must be available to work Monday - Thursday from 8am-1pm OR 1pm-6pm

- Medical Assistant Program:
- Administrative Support: Assist with filing, data entry, and maintaining student records.
- Classroom Preparation: Help set up and organize materials for laboratory sessions, lectures, and practical exams.
- Resource Management: Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring all materials are available and properly stored.
- Student Assistance: Provide guidance to fellow students on administrative procedures, program requirements, and available resources.
- Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of program events, such as orientations and workshops.
- Communication: Help distribute information, assistance, and announcements to students.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and assist in maintaining a clean and safe learning environment.
Job Duties:
- Assist with correcting, completing and preparing paperwork as assigned by the supervisor.
- Able to perform basic office skills: typing, filing, cleaning, shredding, making flyers, answering phones.
- Possess basic computer skills i.e., Word, Excel, Publisher, Adobe and PowerPoint.
- Possess the ability to assist and answer questions from customers and operate regular office equipment such as copy machines, postage machine, and printers.
- Running variety of errands
- Assist students in accessing their Student Portals, as needed.
- Handle confidential information with tact, discretion and in compliance with FERPA regulations.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as needed.
- Provide assistance to the instructors and part-time staff, as needed.
- Additional job duties and responsibilities may vary based on your department.
Student Employment Qualifications:
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA.
- Must be enrolled in no less than six (6) credits at CAC. A student can work up to 19 hours per week if enrolled in 12 or more credits, 15 hours per week if enrolled for 9 – 11 credits and 10 hours per week if enrolled in 6 – 8 credits. Students can work no more than 19 hours per week while classes are in session.
- Must obtain at least a 2.0 GPA
- Must pass a background verification of employment
